Caecilie Buhmann
MD, IPPNW vice-president for Europe, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Buhmann holds a BSc in Global Health from University College London and a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University in New York. She is founder and current president for the organisation Global Doctors in Denmark, which will host the conference Global Response 2010 in Copenhagen, January 22nd-25th.
Simon Mark O’Connor

O’Connor trained and practised as a Barrister in the UK. He subsequently served as a Officer in the British Army Legal Service from 2001-2006 and holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation (CPS, UiT).
Rachel Issa Djesa
Cand. Polit in social anthropology & filmmaker, Head of information, North/South Coalition (UiT).
Djesa is working with themes related to communication, intercultural understanding, North/South relation and cooperation, knowledge, power and dialog between cultures. Ongoing research: The issue of "Female Genital Cuttings".

His work include Chief of Humanitarian Relief and Acting Humanitarian Coordinator, UNOSOM ll, Somalia, and trainer of Do No Harm.

Jannicke Heyerdahl-Larsen

Knut A. Holtedahl
Professor of general practice at the University of Tromsø. Holtedahl holds a Diploma of Tropical Medicine from the University of Paris. His African medical experience consists of medical work in Niger in 1970 and in Cameroun in 1984 and again for one long and several shorter periods for the last 12 years. Lately Holtedahl has concentrated on questions concerning barring the way for hiv/aids. He was head of the Board of the University of Tromsø Centre for Environment and Development Studies 1999-2003.

Anna Luise Kirkengen
Specialist in Family Medicine /General Practice.
Kirkengen did a Ph.D. on the topic of health impact of childhood sexual abuse. She is professor in Family Medicine, Dept. of Community Medicine, University of Tromsø.
Klaus Melf
Assisting Chief County Medical Officer, Norwegian Board of Health Supervision in Troms County. Board member of IPPNW-Norway.
Melf is trained in medicine and holds a doctorate in Occupational Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation (CPS, UiT). From 2005-2008 he has coordinated the EU-funded pilot project Medical Peace Work.
Kirsten Myhr
MScPharm, MPH and specialisation in hospital pharmacy. Myhr has international experience from drug supply management in Africa and Eastern Europe on assignments from NORAD, WHO and UNICEF. She is member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel for Drug Policies and Management. Principal author of the manual Medicine Prices: A new approach to management. Currently head of a regional drug information and adverse drug reactions monitoring centre in Oslo.

Steffen Rostock Svendsen
Psychologist and Art-therapist, Violence and Traumatic Stress Resource Centre North Norway, University Hospital of North Norway.
He has worked in Palestine since 2003 with the project "Psychosocial support for Palestinian helpers", developing models of psychosocial support for helpers in ongoing-war settings.
